What Model State, The Muslim Brothers want?

Other Than Modern State Models.

الشعب يريد

الشعب يريد ماذا ؟

First of all, I am a Muslim by birth. No one have the right to change my faith except God  or Satan (as his wish)(Auothu by the First against the second) .  No one may doubt that what is going in the Arab countries especially in Egypt concern every Arab and Muslim as well as other people in non-Muslim nations.

Models of state we learned from history, whither Islamic or not Islamic have their own models. Let’s discard non-Muslim models, and apply only Muslim or Islamic state models.
History tells us that Muslims have the following state models:
1. The state of Medina led by the Prophet himself.
2. The four Khulafa State, which was led by the four Caliphs.
3. The Umayyad State led by Umayyah’s Dynasty.
4. The Abbasid state which was led by Sons of al Abbas, or Abbasid Dynasty.
5. The following state models were very private, and ethnically bound. For example, In Andalusia, the Umayyad, the Murabiteen, and the rest of leaders were applying too many models according to their times and places. In the Eastern side, families took over states after the Tarter’s invasion of Baghdad. Small states models were followed by; al Salagiqah, Bani Buwaih, in Iraq and Iran, The Ayyoubites in Egypt, and later by Turk, or Othman Sons, and Muhammad Ali.
No other models are known yet to include in the options of the Muslim Brothers to choose from other than dictatorial or chauvinist state models. Therefore, let’s apply these state-models to the Muslim Brothers in modern times. Taking into consideration the difficulties of applying any of them in modern age. Because there is no system similar to the old systems. In other words, people started after the enlightenment age, to choose their own systems close to democratic rules or far from it.
The first and second state model, the prophet and the Four Caliphs states, were theocratic in belief and practice. If the Muslim Brothers choose this type of state, people have to go back to their times and culture. Therefore, women clothing will cover up all their body parts, top to toes, men and women should not have underwear, Wine and alcohol should be prohibited according to Qur’an teachings, even though alcohol was found, its prohibition was practiced by punishment.
In terms of following the two systems in modern times, the Muslim Brothers should destroy whatever existed or invented of worldly technology or any thing have to do with belief. For example, all past monuments, like al-Ahram (The Pyramids), statues, and the like should be destroyed. The same with the transportation system (Roads, planes, ships, autocars, trains, etc.,); as well as the democratic state rules of making equality between Muslims and non-Muslims giving people the same terminology of Arab-Ajam, or Muslims and non-Muslims, in order to specify types of taxes and way of dressing.
While more than half of the people in any society reject these practices in modern times for many reasons belong to each ethnical or religious or secular category in the society, it will be very difficult to apply. There is no similar to Muhammad as a leader of faith, nor Abu Bakr, nor other Khulafa exist in modern age. Therefore, this type of state model cannot and will not work in modern times.
Let’s apply the Umayyad state model. The Muslim Brothers are in no way similar to that model, because alcohol was not prohibited, many poets were fond of ghazal and wine, even the royalty court were using all types of wine. Arabs were super in the state, other ethnic groups were enslaved, women were divided into many types according to social classes. Jawari, (concubines), singers, slaves, were common in the state, bought and sold as usual, Zina (Adultery) was popular among the state leaders, with permission of the state. The wealthy and the rich has their type of estate, belonging and practice. Poets stories were very well known accompany these types.
If the Muslim Brothers follow the Umayyad system, and apply its rule, the heads of the state, the army, the wealthy will have supreme power to rule in their districts or governorates. They will not accept much of these rules. The Muslim Brothers, then will not apply the Umayyad state model.
In terms of the Abbasid state model, Persian and shi’te belief was prospered in that time. Arabs were second in authority other than the Dynasty family members. Leaders of governorates were chosen according to the Abbasid dynasty. Those who support it will be close to modern state model of mixture ethnic populations.
Wine and alcohol was common and familiar in public. Baghdad bars and fun places were found. Poets excelled in describing those who made, or provided or drink wine. Abu Nuwas and even some Khulafa were well involved in drinking alcohol, what we know of Harun al Rasheed, and his sons were alcoholic (true or may be false according to Ibn Khaldun), their army leaders were also practice the habit of drinking, and choosing the best marked alcohol of the time. Make drunk poets very close to them. Concubines as well as homosexuality was famous in their courts according to Kitab al Aghani. Singers were filling the social parties every night, since the days of Muhammad and continues with triumph in the Abbasid state.
I doubt that this model will suite the Muslim Brothers these days. So what other possible model be in choice from the rest deteriorated state models followed the Tarter invasion of the Muslim states?
Do they take the role of Saladin times, to conquer the crusades? Can they follow the Andalusia models which ended with defeat and shame?
Can they follow the corrupt caliphate of Ottomans’ and Turks state model?
I wonder, what state system they will create, if the Muslim Brothers rejected all past models! And on what bases or criteria they will depend to make harmony of citizens in a society characterized by complexity and chaos.
We live in the 21st century now, and in my belief, and according to accumulated knowledge of past state models, the chosen model by the Muslim Brothers will not be similar or even close to past state models. The remaining state models are the Dictatorial and Chauvinist state models. And these models are more suitable for the Muslim Brothers to follow and practice, as we see their practices in Egypt and other places in the Arab world. None of the past model state system may suit their case.
So, my question, in the conclusion would be: O Muslim Brothers Murshid (theological selected leader), ranks, and members, what state model you want to follow in the 21st century? I think your answer will be a surprise for almost all state models exist in our days. www.hasanyahya.com
